A little Hawthorne Threads Giveaway!

*the giveaway is now closed*

Hey all,
I do believe that I mentioned that there would be more giveaways in your future...and there are still more! But today we have a little something from the lovely Charlie and Lindsay over at Hawthorne Threads. Now if you have heard of Hawthorn Threads, then the title of this post has already got you excited. But if you haven't heard of them, then I invite you to come out of your cave and join the rest of us in our love for an online fabric store that always has the latest things to offer!

They have generously offered up one of their fabulous scrap packs to a lucky winner.  Don't know about their scrap packs?!  Well, let me enlighten you.  This was one of my very favorite things to buy from them when they were still over on Etsy under another name.  It is such a great way to do a little stash building and they have cleverly sorted their scrap packs into three categories: Cool, Warm, and Fresh.

In their words, "What a great way to get a sampling of designer fabrics!  You will receive 2 yards worth of fabric by weight which is about 12 ounces. Your pack will include an assortment of fabrics from those designers seen in our shop."

I have ordered many of these over the past few years and I have never been disappointed in the fabrics I receive.  They are very generous with the fabrics that they give away.  And somehow, because the fabrics are "scraps" (although the tend to be at least an 1/8 of a yard), they are always easier for me to cut into and actually use.  LOL.  Ahhh the mystery of scraps.

So for today's giveaway, what do you need to do?  Well I would love it if you all went and joined my little group on flickr I set up for us to share anything that you make by following one of my tutorials or patterns...or just were inspired to make because of something I've made.  It's so lovely to see that people are actually using and enjoying your patterns. For the few of you that have already joined, just let me know that you have. lol

Oh and tomorrow I'll tell you about a few things that you might be able to add to that group in the near future. ;)

PS.  If you are not part of the flickr community, then first of all, consider joining us crazy folk over there.  There really is something for everyone.  Otherwise, leave me a note saying which item of mine you would be most like to see a pattern for.  In fact, everyone can do that...so you flickr folks have two chances for an entry!

Good luck! We'll keep this open until Sunday night again...it's just easier for me to remember that the giveaways end at the same time.  lol

You can find my little flickr group here -

Oh!  One more thing.  You can get an extra entry if you actually have something to add already to that group! How fun would that be?!  Well fun for me at least.  :)
