Well first of all I'd like to give a huge congratulations to all of you who did so amazingly well on this fabric diet! I think that you guys are fabulous for sustaining so often and so well. You put me to shame. I think that I needed the diet more than any of you. LOL. But that's okay. I think whether we bought fabric or did not, we all learned something about our purchasing habits. Some things can be improved and some are just fine.
So, I want to do a little celebration. From the fabulous Fat Quarter Shop we have not one but TWO jelly rolls of Sherbet Pips! Thank you Fat Quarter Shop! So that means that we will potentially have two winners. Why potentially? Well, one person could win both. And some of you will have a lot of opportunities. ;)
So what do you need to do? Well, everyone who wants to can enter...just leave me a comment about what you would love to see in a future giveaway.
Now comes the fun for those of you who played along with the fabric diet. If you were playing along and checked in with us on a regular basis then you get one bonus entry. Simply leave a comment saying "bonus entry #1". Then (and I promise I'm not trying to punish you guys by making you do work! lol), for every successful week you had in addition to playing, you get another bonus entry. So that means that some of you will have up to eight bonus entries and nine entries total. Simply label each entry as "bonus entry #_". So some of you definitely have a fair chance of winning more than once.
And maybe I'll be throwing in a few other giveaways in there as well. ;) You'll just have to wait and see. I want to give everyone time to check in, so we'll keep this open until Wednesday March 2nd. Then, it's you snooze, you lose!
Good luck everyone!

ReplyDeleteFabric is as great as a giveaway can get in my eyes! I am new to quilting, and setting oneself up properly is expensive in itself, then the most beautiful of fabrics seem so luxurious! I would love to participate in all these beautiful swaps I see, (like your doll quilt swap, oh that was so divine!) but until I learn to create such beauty, I am left to drool over blogs like yours hahaha! Thanks for inspiration Angela x

ReplyDeleteGreat giveaway because I've been wanting some of this line since I first saw it and am so glad it didn't come out in the middle of my fabric diet lol
ReplyDeleteAs for what I'd like to see in future giveaways? Hmm well anything fabric related - especially if it's hard to find. In fact if it's hard to find pre-cuts of it like charm packs, jelly rolls, layer cakes are always good because you have a whole range of it to play with.

ReplyDeleteThank you Angela for such an eye-opening two months - I've totally un-learned my addictive fabric behaviour and will do all I can to stay on the straight and narrow (that would be the selvage, right?)
ReplyDeleteSherbet Pips was the one real temptation for me, as it's one of the few lines that I wanted a bit of everything for! I held on though, and if I win one of these, I'd be just over the moon.
If I won both I promise I'd pay it forward and give the other one away on my blog ... only fair :)
Any giveaways are great. Definitely more fabric! Maybe some Central Park or Metro Living?? I didn't fabric diet, but I need to!

ReplyDeleteExcellent giveaway! I'm not picky--I like giveaways in all shapes and sizes. :) Fabric is my favorite. Or gift certificates to buy fabric.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful giveaway! would love to see a Go! machine, or fat quarter bundles! Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteI love any fabric giveaway! I suppose I prefer fat quarters to precuts but I will certainly figure out a way to use the precuts, especially these Pips!
ReplyDeleteBummer, no bonus entries for me. But maybe I will get lucky. I love seeing any kind of fabric giveaways :) I just love fabric, it makes me smile :)
ReplyDeleteOh I didnt go on fabric diet this is my stock up time. As to what I would like to see in future give away...Strawberry Fields by figtree, I can't wait for that fabric. (It had to be fabric, naturally)
ReplyDeleteWell I just found your blog through the ORBC group. Man looks like I missed out on some fun. I love this Sherbet Pips line and I can't wait for the yardage to come out. I already have stuff planned in my head. Of course winning some now would mean less waiting. Thanks for the chance.
ReplyDeleteGiving away fabric is awesome!! You could spice it up by choosing different pre cuts... just an idea. Please count me in for your sweet giveaway. Thanks! micheletimms at gmail dot com
ReplyDeleteAny kind of pre-cuts for a giveaway is what I'd love to see! Thanks for including me in your raffle :)

ReplyDeleteWell, I was not a participant in the fabric diet, because I'm actually trying to GROW my stash! I'd love someday to be able to pull fabrics from my stash for a quilt, or even have enough scraps to make a scrappy quilt. I'd love to see pre-cuts or fat quarters in a giveaway...since they are such a great way to get a variety of fabrics to play with.
ReplyDeleteI was not on a fabric diet! ;) And I can't believe the restraint you ladies have!
ReplyDeleteI would love to see more fat quarters . thanks
ReplyDeleteI wasn't on the fabric diet because I had used most of my stash last year! I'd love to see either modern bright colors or a Kona cotton giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI love this sherbet pips fabric. Give it away often! Any fabric giveaway is a good thing.
ReplyDeleteWell, I wasn't on your diet because I have a baby on the way, with the Dan Stiles fabric to purchase that I've been waiting for since November. However, I think it's a great idea - I'll start after I order Sunkissed (maybe). Love your blog. :)
ReplyDeleteWoohoo! What a great giveaway :)
