Oh I didn't realize that this was going up today! But I have a tablecloth pattern up over at Moda Bake Shop today.
This is a great pattern that only needs 2 charm packs and lets you dive into some fabrics and USE them! I used Liz Scott's Domestic Bliss line plus a Bella solid and the new grey dottie backing.
And the fabulously generous Kimberly of the Fat Quarter Shop has offered one of my readers a $50 gift certificate to her store! Thank you Kimberly!! She's really the sweetest! That should give you some help in buying the supplies for this project (or any other delicious item you are working on).
So, to enter to win the $50 Gift Certificate, you can
1) Hop over to the Moda Bake Shop and leave a comment there on my "recipe" for the tablecloth. Then come back here and leave me a comment telling me you did so.
2) This week's topic...your favorite perfume. What do you wear? What do you love? Hate them all? Haven't bought one in years? I want to know! So leave me a comment about perfume. (funny stories are always appreciated as well. I need laughter!)
Just for the record, my personal favorite perfume is Chanel Chance. And my husband actually bought it for me when we were in Disney World hanging out at Epcot in the French Perfume shop. Memories.

Beautiful tablecloth!! I tried to Pin It, but pics say I can't. :(
ReplyDeleteI saw this over at MBS, so cute :)
ReplyDeleteFabulous!
ReplyDeleteI love 'Domestic Bliss'!
Love the tablecloth and what a great giveaway! My favoriate perfume is Amarige by Givenchy. The story of how it became my favorite - my husband smelled it on a waitress and asked her what she was wearing. He bought some for me - and I can't tell you how many people come up to me and ask me what I'm wearing. I've worn it for years now and it happens all the time (don't need attention much, huh? LOLOL!)
ReplyDeleteI left you a comment on your "recipe"!
ReplyDeleteI left a comment over at MBS
ReplyDeleteMy favorite perfume is Fendi, which I hear is not being made anymore, BooHoo! Perfume tends to really change its scent on me, but this is one that stayed delicious smelling-always get compliments on it!
ReplyDeleteFavorite perfume...right now...is Vera Wang Lovestruck. Love your recipe over at the Moda Bake Shop but it wouldn't let me view the printable version...says the file is corrupt? :(
ReplyDeleteDeanna I just tried and it was working fine...give it another whirl and let me know!
Deletei left a comment at MBS. love that fabric.
ReplyDeleteLeft a comment (great project!). Don't have a favorite perfume since I have allergies and most bother me :o(
ReplyDeleteI left a comment, love it!
ReplyDeleteI left a comment at MBS.
ReplyDeleteI don't wear fragrance, because of allergies. But I have the most fragrant yard you can imagine.
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the table cloth. It is gorgeous. I left a comment over there at Moda Bake Shop. I haven't worn perfume in years. My daughter was allergic to anything I tried to wear when she was a baby so I got out of the habit of wearing any.
ReplyDeleteCommented over at the Bake Shop. Seriously, so cute--my mind is whirling with the possibilities!
ReplyDeleteI left a comment. fun!
ReplyDeleteGreat job! I left a comment on Moda Bake Shop.
ReplyDeleteThis is kind of embarrassing, but my feelings on perfume are sort of like my feelings on fabric--different styles for different moods! The ones I wear most often are LaVanila's Vanilla Coconut (it smells like cake, how can you go wrong??), Fresh's Brown Sugar, and Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab's Dorian, which is my "grown up" fragrance--black tea, white musk and vanilla. I think I have a major vanilla problem. Is there a 12-step for that?
ReplyDeleteI actually love an essential oil called Peace and Calming. I've had people ask me if I am wearing a perfume by Clinique :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat tablecloth - love the grey border/backing! My favourite perfume is Jo Malone. Always get comments on it! Oh, I commented on MBS!
ReplyDeletePersonally I really like Burberry. It blends nicely with my skin and isnt floral.
ReplyDeleteI left a comment on the Bake shop
ReplyDeleteI left a comment on the moda bake shop "recipe". :-)
ReplyDeleteI rarely wear perfume. If I do, it tends to be a light vanilla scented variety.
ReplyDeleteI left a comment at MBS!
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid I haven't worn perfume in years!
I don't wear perfume and can't be around people who do because of allergies. I see from the comments I am not the only one.
ReplyDeleteI left a comment on the Bake Shop :)
ReplyDeleteI can't wear perfume either :( Or be around people who wear it - darn those allergies!
ReplyDeleteI don't wear perfume, and don't buy it - but I have some vanilla body spray that I use when I go somewhere that requires wearing makeup and curling my hair - which is a rare occasion, LOL.
ReplyDeleteI left a comment on the MBS project before I even saw this, LOL.
ReplyDeleteLeft you a comment on MBS!
ReplyDeletei always say that right now, i smell like spit up (thanks to my 4 month old) and sweat (thanks to crossfit) - not really a winning combo. but when i like to smell nice, i usually wear black raspberry vanilla body spray or heavenly by victoria's secret.
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm a speech pathologist so I stopped wearing perfume years ago because many of patients couldn't tolerate the smell of perfume. I only use bath gels and such now, and I like a fresh, almost fruity type smell for those. I'm actually cracking up at all the Vanilla comments because that's one smell I only like coming out of my kitchen! NOT into vanilla smelling bath stuff at all!
ReplyDeletei left a comment on MBS.
ReplyDeleteI left a comment on MBS...
ReplyDeleteWhen I do wear it, it's Chanel No. 5 darling. That being said, haven't bought any in years so what I have is probably vinegar by now. Glad to hear you are settling in even though we miss you down here!
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeletePerfume is not my cup of tea, the smell is to strong for my nose ;-)
ReplyDelete(Love smelling some on men around me ;-p)
That is a darling table cloth! :)
ReplyDeleteI commented at MBS and my signature perfume is Calvin Klein Euphoria. :)
ReplyDeleteI left a comment over at Moda Bake Shop too. Congrats to you for getting another project chosen for their Bake Shop site. I LOVE perfume. I wear something everyday after I shower.....usually what one of my daughters has left behind. My all time favorite fragrance is Channel Mademoiselle. I use it sparingly usually when I'm very dressed up....you know a wedding or something special. I would love to wear it everyday, but it's just too expensive. I bought the last bottle in the airport traveling home from Paris.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tablecloth.I wear parfums and love the fresh one.I love your recipe over MBS.Thamks!
ReplyDeletei left a comment in the recipe...
ReplyDeleteits really a great idea! I òove it
thanks for the giveaway
parfums...? i hate them!! i can only wear few drops of essential oil :) my favorite is lavander
ReplyDeleteI left the comment on the Moda Bake Shop page. I love all the recipes they post! Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI left a comment in the recipe - thanks (both for the tutorial and the giveaway!)
ReplyDeleteI've been wearing Bella by BeautiControl. I have a granddaughter named bella so I thought I would try it and I really like it.
ReplyDeleteI just left a comment on MBS - the tablecloth is so cute!
ReplyDeleteI subscribe to Birchbox, and almost every month they give you a perfume sample. I have dozens of them! I wear a different perfume all the time. I am loving a lot of the Blvgari scents I've been getting, especially Jasmine Noir.
Every now and then I want to wear a perfume, but I haven't bought one in years. My husband is sensitive to scents and I need to take him shopping so I can find one that I like and that doesn't make him feel sick! When I was younger I loved the "white musk" scent... I can't remember where I got it from.
ReplyDeleteHi there! Just discovered your blog from Moda Bake Shop, so fun! Thanks for the awesome tutorial, I left a comment on Moda!
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I love Estée Lauder intense pleasures perfume! Clean and classy .
ReplyDeleteLeft a comment for you at the Bake Shop!
ReplyDeleteGreat Tablecloth! I left a comment at the bakeshop!
ReplyDeleteI left a comment....grin....and now I'm commenting that I commented about commenting.
ReplyDeleteI wear TOVA that I buy on QVC
ReplyDeleteI left a comment on Moda and love your mitered corner help :)
ReplyDeleteI don't usually wear perfume, but on occasion I do wear Estée Lauder's Tuscany Per Donna.
ReplyDeleteSorry, no perfume advice have not bought any in years!
ReplyDeleteperfumes- I love Victoria Secret sprays- perfumes are too strong for me in general- my fans are Love Spell and Blossoming Romance :)
ReplyDeletegreat project. i don't wear perfume...but i always get a kick out of walking thru a crowded area and smelling my mom circa 1980!! I can't remember what her perfume was called back then, but i remember the brown bottle!
ReplyDeletegreat tablecloth idea! left a comment over at MBS.
ReplyDeletei used to wear tommy girl back in high school, and haven't really used perfume since then. every once in a while if i find some around the house ...
I love Green Tea from Elizabeth Arden. Very fresh an light.
ReplyDeleteLove your tablecloth and left a comment at MBS.
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute. I left a comment at MBS for you.
ReplyDeleteI am not one to spend lots of money on myself on things like perfume. (Especially not when there is fabric to buy!) I never wear it anyway because I have such bad allergies. :)
ReplyDeleteI left a comment on Moda Bake Shop! Such a great project!
ReplyDeletelwghosts at yahoo dot com
I only have one perfume now - Happy by Clinique. I love it but rarely wear it. I don't know why I went "off" perfume. I just bought my niece her first perfume which is Taylor Swift's perfume. She was so excited!
ReplyDeletelwghosts at yahoo dot com
I am not a fan of perfume. I used to like White Linen... but that was way back in the 90's. I do like the baby powder scent of Secret deoderant if that counts... LOL.
ReplyDeleteLeft some love at the Bakeshop for you. Cute table cover!
ReplyDeleteThe tablecloth is great with many ways to create. My favorite perfume is Far Away.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!!! I left a comment over at MBS :)
ReplyDeleteHELLO! MY FAVORITE PERFUME IS 'ETERNITY' BY CK.
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU+FQS FOR SHARING!
msstitcher1214@yahoo.com
SUCH A NEAT TABLE CLOTH!
ReplyDeleteVISITED MBS+LEFT A COMMENT!
THANK YOU+FQS!
msstitcher1214@yahoo.com
I used to wear perfume when I was younger. But I can't wear it anymore, or even be around due to sensativities to it. Lovely table cloth. Thanks for a great giveaway.
ReplyDeleteFirst I went over and made a comment on table cloth it looks great. I really need to add one of those to my sewing list.
ReplyDeletehttp://richardquilts.blogspot.com
My signature scent is Acqua Di Gioia.
ReplyDeleteAs for the perfume I don't wear it (or manly perfume). But I am allergic even if I like it.
ReplyDeletehttp://richardquilts.blogspot.com
I love the nice tablecloth and tutorial ... I wrote a comment about the cuteness of it at Moda Bake Shop!
ReplyDeleteWhat I wear nowadays is a fragrance from Aveda...very soothing especially against the stresses and smells of potty training.
ReplyDeleteI love Tresor! Can't wear it anymore, or any other perfume for that matter, but I still remember how much I loved that scent.
ReplyDeleteI commented on your great tablecloth at Moda Bake Shop.
ReplyDeleteWell, I came over from Moda to say great job, and you are having a giveaway! That's serendipity :) I left a comment over there!
ReplyDeleteWhile I was stalking my husband (before he was my husband) I found out he liked Amore Amore, so I used every last penny I had in my bank account to buy a little bottle. Then, when I finally convinced him to go on a date with me, I made sure to spray on a little before I left! It worked :) In real life, I rarely wear anything. And if I do, it is still only Amore Amore.
ReplyDeleteI commented on your wonderful tutorial at the Bake Shop. I love Euphoria and Incognito Bliss. Thanks for the wonderful giveaway - isn't the Fat Quarter Shop the greatest!!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite perfume is (prepare yourself for a golden oldie) White Shoulders. I'm not sure if they still make it, I have a very hard time finding it. Right now I'm using Summer Hill and it's lovely too. I left a comment over at Moda Bake Shop. Thanks for the chance on your wonderful giveaway!!!
ReplyDeleteI commented at the bake shop. I don't really do perfume but I do like the body spray at Bath and Body Works, pink grapefruit and cucumber melon, but not at the same time. Very light and not overpowering.
ReplyDeleteCute tablecloth! I saw the tutorial over at the Bake Shop and left a comment there too. :)
ReplyDeleteI don't have a favorite commercial perfume. I tend to buy and wear blends of oils that perfumers make. My current favorite is November in the Temperate Deciduous Forest:
ReplyDeletehttp://www.etsy.com/listing/63623413/november-in-the-temperate-deciduous
It has a warm, woodsy, spicy, green mysterious scent and I love it. I'm not compensated for posting the link, I just love Jill's perfumes is all. :)
Left a comment on Moda Bakeshop. The tablecloth is adorable!
ReplyDeleteCommented on Moda Bakeshop. Thanks, I always enjoy a charm pack pattern.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite perfume is Poeme by Lancome. My MIL introduced it to me - and between her and my husband I am always well supplied. My favorite bottle was the one my hubby bought me in the Paris airport on our way home from a three week trip to Europe. He wandered off for a while and when he came back he claimed the only thing he had bought was a deck of cards with the Eiffel Tower on them. When we were seated on the plane, he handed me the bag with the perfume!
ReplyDeletecute idea, looks just as cute @ moda bake shop, thanks for the giveaway
ReplyDeleteI enjoy many different perfumes. Mostly I am drawn to clean citrus scents. I am currently wearing Daisy by Marc Jacobs. I also have Amazing Grace by Philosophy. I like Happy by Clinique. I remember my first favorite was Lauren by Ralph Lauren.
ReplyDeleteCommented on Moda Bake Shop. Love the tablecloth! My favorite perfume is Trish by Trish McEvoy.
ReplyDeleteI commented on Moda Bake Shop! Genius idea to make the border and the backing from the same piece of fabric!
ReplyDeleteI don't wear perfume anymore most of them tend to give me a headache. I use to love Clinque Happy.
ReplyDeleteSo very pretty!! I posted on Moda. and I don't wear perfume:(
ReplyDeletesusan moorefamily117@gmail.com
Very cute! I left you a comment.
ReplyDeleteCommented on adorable tablecloth at Moda Bakeshop. .....Until I was pregnant with my second son, I loved perfume and my favorite scent was Calvin Klein. Twelve years later, I still can't stand to wear any perfume. - it's kind of like experiencing morning sickness all over again. Oh well, I'm very happy with "eau de boy." ;)
ReplyDeleteLeft a comment. :)
ReplyDeleteI hadn't worn perfume in forever, but just fell for Coco Mademoiselle by Chanel. Of course, now I have to save up for it. ;)
ReplyDeleteMy favourites are the little solid-cream perfumes from Pacific Perfumes. In cute little sustainable-wood containers, and they last really well.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely left a comment over at MBS
ReplyDeleteI haven't worn perfume in years, but my husband really likes the smell of my Neutrogena face cream. :)
ReplyDeletehttp://www.blackphoenixalchemylab.com/welcome.html
ReplyDeleteLove this site. Get all my perfume from there. And I can pretty much ensure that no one else will smell like me at any parties ;)
I think it's hard to recommend perfume, without having an idea of what types of scents you like, but my favourite evening perfume is Prada's L'eau ambree. It's sort of dark and warm and elegant and sexy.
ReplyDeleteDuring the day I usually wear Caudalie's Fleur de Vigne, which is not a perfume, just a light fragrance. It disappears very quickly, but it is the freshest, lightest, cleanest smelling scent I've ever smelled. It's like the moment you step out of the shower. It's a little bit fruity, without smelling like a fruit salad, with watermelon and grapefruit and is meant to smell like a vinyard, like grape flower, something I've never smelled, but would love to believe smells like this.
I left a comment for you over at the bake shop. :)
ReplyDeleteI love your table cloth and the ease of using just two charm packs and a little extra yardage. I like floral and botanical scents mainly. My favorites are Burberry Weekends and Demeter Fragrances Wet Garden (which smells just like a spring garden to me). I also will mix fragrances using essential oils when the mood strikes me. :) Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteI left a comment for you over at the Bake shop!
ReplyDeleteI left a comment on a wonderful "charming" tablecloth. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteNow perfumes- I usually can't wear them except a very few j Lo and curve right now others make me
Sneeze too much lol!
I left a comment there this morning, its the first one. Adoarble tablecloth! A conversation piece.
ReplyDeleteI don't really wear perfume. :) I nevre have been real big on it...except the 80's, lolol. I can' remember what I wore then though, sorry.
ReplyDeleteI don't wear perfume any more. Sorry to say but strong smells bother me.
ReplyDeleteno perfume, allergic husband. : )
ReplyDeleteI left a comment at the bake shop : )
ReplyDeleteI can't wear most perfumes because I get a headache from the floral scents, but there are a few more "earthy" solid perfumes at Lush that I really like!
ReplyDeleteI commented on your recipe. Fun!
ReplyDeleteIn high school I used to wear perfume, but in my early 20's I just couldn't stand wearing it anymore since it gave me a headache. I can't even sit by someone who's wearing perfume without getting a headache. It's no fun. : )
I commented on the tutorial! I absolutely love it! :) The instructions are very clear!
ReplyDeleteI don't wear perfume - I guess I haven't really had a reason too. Except for when I was in middle school - for some reason I really loved perfume then, lol!
ReplyDeleteI seldom ever wear perfume, unless it is a very light scent, like vanilla or a light fruit scent. I will never forget the time the kids and I all attended a church service during Holy Week. I ended up sitting beside a lady that must have taken a bath in a very strong perfume. I coughed, and sneezed, and snorted till I could not stand it any more. I had to get up and spend the rest of the service in the back of the church. My kids thought it was quite funny, but I about choked to death.
ReplyDeleteI just left a comment over on MBS. I'll say again that this is a very cute and simple table cloth. Good job.
ReplyDeleteI left a comment on Moda Bake Shop. I wear Issey Miyake or Jo Malone Nectarine Blossom & Honey. I am very particular about my cologne and will not let anyone else select it for me. Thanks for a great giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI hopped over to Moda Bake Shop and left a comment there on your "recipe" for the tablecloth. I have come back here and am leaving a comment telling you I did!
ReplyDeleteFor me the most evocative perfume is the one that my mum has always worn: Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche. She's been wearing it since university, and it's not very common, so when I smell it on someone else I instantly think of her.
ReplyDeleteOh, and I left a comment on your new recipe! What a lovely way to use up those charm packs!
ReplyDeleteI haven't worn perfume in years... I always forget to put it on even when I have some!
ReplyDeleteI loved your tablecloth and commented right away on it this morning when I saw it posted. it's fabulous! and so is that fabric!
ReplyDeleteleft a comment a MBS!! such a pretty tablecloth...great colours!
ReplyDeletefavorite perfume...Vera Wang, Princess
ReplyDeleteI love perfume! It's the one girly thing that I put on every morning . . . um I love Sexy from Victoria Secret and Euphoria from Calvin Klein - Love your table cloth thanks for a fun summer project :)
ReplyDeleteI left a comment on Moda:)
ReplyDeleteI left a comment about your tablecloth. I really like it, and the idea of using a solid fabric for the top. I don't wear perfume as it tends to give me a headache. If people have too much perfume on I get a migraine. So no smells for me.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite perfume is Happy by Clinique. Love that stuff:)
ReplyDeleteSince I quit my job about 6 years ago, I've not bought much perfume. REcently found that they no longer make my two summer faves, but Red Door is still around.
ReplyDeleteGreat giveaway! I left a comment on MBS.
ReplyDeleteLeft you a comment on MBS - you know, those tablecloths would make great gifts!
ReplyDeleteAnd I don't wear perfume much any more due to allergies, but I really love the classic - Chanel #5 - because for some reason it makes my husband get really romantic! Who knew?
ReplyDeleteLeft a comment on MBS...it really is a cute pattern. Love uses for pre-cuts that aren't always quilted or bags. Sometimes a quick and simple project is nice too.
ReplyDeleteI left a comment on Moda Bake Shop. Love this tablecloth!
ReplyDeleteI can't remember the last time I bought perfume. When I was a teenager though I really liked Poison. Can't even remember who made it.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I swear by philosophy's Amazing Grace...a soft wonderful scent that you don't smell on you all day long but others definitely notice. I cannot tell you how many times I have been told "you smell really nice" not "your perfume smells good". Try it...my sis and mom use it and it smells differently on all three of us.
ReplyDeleteAbsolute favorite perfume is Dior Addict, but it's hard to find. So right now I'm wearing Estée Lauder Pleasures Delight (a sweeter version of Pleasures). Love them both!
ReplyDeleteHave to enter your giveaways so of course I left a comment at MBS.
ReplyDeleteMy husband hates perfume, so I don't wear it. The last perfume I owned was Opium in the '80s. My daughter went to school and told everyone that her daddy brought me Opium and the teacher was really confused because she didn't know it was perfume.
ReplyDeleteI left your some recipe love at moda bake shop! :-)
ReplyDeleteMy new favorite perfume is Coach Poppy! It smells great without being overpowering. I have not bought any yet because it is like $85 a bottle. I just cannot come off that kinda money right now.
ReplyDeleteBUT... I am one of the lucky few who have a hard time choosing perfumes because my body chemistry changes the scent of the perfumes. I once got some perfume for Christmas from my parents and had to return it because my body made it smell like skunk...yes skunk! And I had a hard time getting the scent off of me. So ever since then, I have to go to the store beg the associates to spray it directly on my skin(because they do not like to do this) and wait a couple of hours to see how my body is going to react to the scent. It is most annoying and thus why my hubby won't go buy perfume for me randomly. :-) I still love him anyways. Thanks for a chance to win a lovely prize!
I don't wear perfume at all. I am very sensitive to perfumes, dyes, and chemicals so perfumes are a NO NO!
ReplyDeleteMy husband is also very sensitive to perfumes. They actually make him gag, LOL. We're a great match, aren't we?!
I left some love for you tablecloth recipe
ReplyDeleteMy favorite perfume is called Pink Sugar. I'm not sure who makes it, but you can get it at Sephora or some different department stores. I love it because it smells warm and sweet. I get lots of compliments on it too :)
ReplyDeleteI just left a coment on the Moda Bake Shop for your your graat tablecloth.
ReplyDeleteI left you a comment on your tablecloth recipe! Very nice!
ReplyDeleteI wore some Bath and Body Cucumber body spray today but I don't usually like to wear perfume.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteFavorite perfume Happy! by Clinique alternate email mlwright29(at)hotmail(dot)com
ReplyDeleteTry Versace Yellow Diamonds.
ReplyDeleteLeft a comment on your MBS recipe - and the tablecloth is simply charming with the grey dottie backing and mitres.
ReplyDeleteLove the table cloth and left a message on the recipe. Favorite perfume is 'Anais anais' or more to the point the only one that likes me. When ever I wear some thing different I usually get a comment like "whats that smell!"
ReplyDeleteI left a comment as Carole M. I believe I was number 100!
ReplyDeleteI so rarely wear perfume, I don't have a normal perfume. I work in a scent free office, so not much chance to wear one anyhow.
ReplyDeleteI left a comment -- great pattern!
ReplyDeleteI love the table cloth - the directions for those beautiful mitered corners are great. left a comment on the recipe!
ReplyDeleteMy trainer at the gym asked me the other week, "Have you been baking? I feel like you smell like you've been baking."
ReplyDeleteIt was just my vanilla perfume.
I just left you some love at the Bake Shop. This tablecloth is adorable. And the timing is perfect. I have been thinking about making one for a couple weeks.
ReplyDeleteI wear Beautiful or Miracle. When I remember. Mostly my morning routine gets thrown off by my darling daughters who need something.
I used to wear Sui Dreams in high school - college, but haven't worn perfume in years.
ReplyDeleteJust left you mbs love!
ReplyDeleteI've Ben wearing Yves St Laurant but I am always looking for others!
ReplyDeleteI left a comment over at the Bake Shop.
ReplyDeleteI've been wear Estée Lauder White Linen Breeze forever- every day. Do you think I am in a rut?
ReplyDeleteI commented at the Bake Shop.
ReplyDeleteI left a message on The Moda Bake Shop. I will probably make this tablecloth.
ReplyDeleteGreat tutorial over at Moda Bakeshop! I appreciate your photos and instruction for mitered corners! Oh, my favorite perfume is White Diamonds...diamonds (and fabric) are a girl's best friend!
ReplyDeleteI don't do perfumes well on account of my sensitive snout. :) They mostly make me sneeze. I really do love body splashes from Bath & Body works but even those I must use lightly. Although there is one perfume (and the only one) that I adore. It's Beautiful by Estee Lauder. Gosh that stuff smells soooo good.
ReplyDeleteI left a comment on the moda "recipe"...love the tablecloth! And for perfume - I have to admit that the only thing that I wear that is perfumed is the Bath and Body Works lotions. I used to work in a "scent free" workplace so I got out of wearing any perfume at all. Thanks for the giveaway!!
ReplyDeleteI commented on the moda bake shop page as well. Thanks for the chance!
ReplyDeleteI don't wear perfume and I wish that most people would apply their perfume more sparingly than they do. (scented lotions, fabric softeners, fall into this plea too!) Being rather sensitive with my olfactory abilities can be a problem most days.
ReplyDeletefor the record -- I left a comment before there was a giveaway... just sayin'
ReplyDeleteBut no fair for having a giveaway post right after my post, because well... I think people should get an extra entry if they leave a comment on my post too. :)
I have a few favorite perfumes, but I haven't worn them since I was pregnant with Steiger --
- Dior Jadore (I don't know how to do the accent on the a)
- Chanel Allure (they rhyme, see?)
- DKNY...the green apple one... Be Delicious I think. :)
I would leave a comment even without a giveaway... but you already knew that. ;)
ReplyDeleteI said hi over at MBS - love your tutorial!
ReplyDeleteMy fav perfume is discontinued -- Gucci No. 3. Oh how i love it.
ReplyDeleteYour tablecloth is adorable!!!
I don't wear perfume anymore. But I had quite an addiction in high school. I always wore the Benetton scent 'Color', because that was so super cool.
ReplyDeleteI hopped over to MBS. Wow, lots of comments already. You go girl!
ReplyDeleteI left a comment on the MBS page. Cute project.
ReplyDeleteI can't wear perfume...allergies! But the worst for me are men who bathe in the stuff! Oh, that is torture to be out in public and have to deal with it.
ReplyDeleteI haven't worn perfume in about 10 years. I spritzed on a very yummy perfume (wish I could remember which) and wore it to work. The only guy (who just happened to be dreamy) in our office was usually flirting with my boss, but he LOVED that perfume, and after complimenting it for the 10th time in an hour, my boss got jealous and demanded that I douse myself in her nail polish remover to get rid of the smell since it was bothering her "allergies". I've been too scared to wear anything since! (Boy, that was a long comment, and now that I think about it, that boss was really crazy!)
ReplyDeleteI've never been a perfume person and just use the occasional scented lotion. A principal at the middle school I worked at used to wear so much that the kids would know if she was around and would change their behavior accordingly.
ReplyDeleteMagnetism by Escada... mmmmmm....... :)
ReplyDeleteLeft a comment at MBS. Very nice!
ReplyDeleteI was almost not going to comment, but then I totally said OMG when I read that your favorite perfume is Chanel Chance because that's mine too! I came across a little sample bottle years ago, and it just smells fantastic!
ReplyDeleteJust saw this and left a comment over at MBS! It's awesome
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Perfume is pleasures by Estée Lauder!
ReplyDeleteI left a comment at Moda Bake Shop. Love the tablecloth! Thanks!
ReplyDeletePerfume - I can't wear it because it gives me headaches. My widowed grandmother used to wear a perfume named Ambush. It always gives me a hilarious mental picture when I remember that.
ReplyDeleteI wear Chanel 5 or 19 and Coco. I find that the Chanels are the least likely of all the perfumes I own to make people sneeze or get headaches etc. I love Oscar too, and Bucheron is another of my favorites. Paloma Picasso is good too. I can go on and on, I love perfume!
ReplyDeleteI left a comment at Moda for your tablecloth! :)
ReplyDeleteI don't wear perfume...haven't in years. But my favorite men's cologne is Bobby Jones....they just discontinued it and my husband bought every box he could find...just a small hoarding issue ;)
ReplyDeleteOxygene by Lanvin is my fav for many, many years. I get sooo many compliments on it!
ReplyDeleteCommented!
ReplyDeleteMy perfume is Eternity, which is exactly how long I intend to wear it. No funny stories about it though I do have friends that when hugging me will sigh, "Aw, you smell like Carly." Makes me smile every time.
ReplyDeleteLeft a comment- love the table cloth. Perfume- Jo Malone scents are amazing- Grapefruit or Lime Basil and Mandarin. I can't wear them but love to smell them. And Paloma Picasso- reminds me of my mum
ReplyDelete
